“Dollarama Recalls Garlic Powder for Contamination”

Dollarama recalls garlic powder over contamination concerns
Dollarama has issued a recall for garlic powder due to potential contamination, urging Canadians not to use the affected product.
The recall specifically affects Heavenly Spices brand garlic powder packaged in 70 grams and distributed nationwide.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced the recall linked to Bacillus cereus contamination after Dollarama’s notification earlier this week.
CFIA’s statement advised against using, selling, serving, or distributing the impacted garlic powder.
The recall was initiated due to the presence of Bacillus cereus, a bacteria known for causing food poisoning with symptoms like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
