Freestyle skiing: Marielle Thompson in the women’s ski cross (final at 7:10 a.m. ET)
Renowned as Canada’s top ski cross racer, Thompson has a remarkable track record with an Olympic gold in 2014 and a silver in 2022. Despite a recent injury setback, she has shown resilience, securing podium finishes in World Cup events. Thompson, along with other Canadian skiers, will be competing in a challenging field led by Sweden’s Sandra Naeslund.
The competition schedule includes a time trial for seeding at 4 a.m. ET, followed by elimination races and the final at 7:10 a.m. ET.
Women’s curling: Canada vs. Sweden in the semifinals at 8:05 a.m. ET
