Gunfire Near Rihanna’s Home: Woman Apprehended

Must read

Los Angeles authorities apprehended a woman for allegedly discharging a firearm near the residence of renowned singer Rihanna, the police and media disclosed. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and it remains uncertain if Rihanna was present during the incident on Sunday afternoon.

Police were alerted to shots fired near a property in Beverly Hills, as confirmed by spokesperson Officer Charles Miller on Monday. The authorities swiftly took a 35-year-old woman into custody without any complications and seized a weapon, per law enforcement reports.

The suspect faces charges of attempted murder and is being held in detention on a $10 million bail. Although the district attorney has not yet specified the charges, reports suggest the residence is linked to Rihanna through public records showing ownership by a trust managed by Evan Jehle, an advisory board member of Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation.

Despite outreach attempts to Rihanna’s representatives, there has been no official response. Visual evidence showcased by KABC-TV displayed apparent bullet holes on the property’s front gate, with a police dispatcher recounting ten gunshots originating from a vehicle across the street.

The arrested woman’s connection to Rihanna remains unclear. This incident echoes a 2018 case where an individual broke into another residence of Rihanna’s in Hollywood Hills, leading to charges of stalking, vandalism, and resisting arrest, resulting in a probation sentence in 2019.

Rihanna, a nine-time Grammy Award recipient with multiple chart-topping hits like “We Found Love” and “Umbrella,” ventured into the cosmetics industry with Fenty Beauty in 2017. Recently, she and A$AP Rocky welcomed their third child, a daughter named Rocki Irish Mayers, in September.
