Zaida, 17, ventured into a precarious tunnel he had excavated under the rubble, while Ajjour, 37, assisted from above, sifting through debris retrieved by Zaida. The painstaking search was a daily routine, with the men tirelessly combing through the remains of the collapsed building, hoping to find any trace of Masa.
