Must read

Bruno Mars’ Toronto concert on Saturday has been called off by Rogers Stadium. The venue, situated in North York, announced the rescheduling of the event to May 31 citing adverse weather conditions. This concert was meant to kick off a series of five performances at Rogers Stadium, with the other shows scheduled for Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and the following Saturday.

In a social media update, the venue emphasized that the safety of all attendees, including guests, artists, crew, and staff, is their primary concern. Attendees who held tickets for the canceled Saturday show will have their tickets honored for the new date.

Further details regarding the rescheduled concert will be communicated directly to ticket holders via the Rogers Stadium app and Ticketmaster. Bruno Mars, in a separate social media post, assured fans that he would make it up to Toronto on May 31, stating, “I never want this, but I need everyone to be safe to ensure a good time.”

Meanwhile, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement on Saturday morning warning of heavy rain forecasted for the Greater Toronto Area. The statement indicated that up to 50 millimeters of precipitation could be expected throughout the day.
