In a social media update, the venue emphasized that the safety of all attendees, including guests, artists, crew, and staff, is their primary concern. Attendees who held tickets for the canceled Saturday show will have their tickets honored for the new date.

Bruno Mars, in a separate social media post, assured fans that he would make it up to Toronto on May 31, stating, “I never want this, but I need everyone to be safe to ensure a good time.”
Meanwhile, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement on Saturday morning warning of heavy rain forecasted for the Greater Toronto Area. The statement indicated that up to 50 millimeters of precipitation could be expected throughout the day.
