“Yaletown Stabbing Suspect Admits Guilt to Charges”

The woman, aged 35, who was accused in connection with a series of stabbing incidents in Vancouver’s Yaletown area in October last year, has admitted guilt to all charges against her.

Tamara Hamelin was apprehended on October 10 following an incident where three individuals were hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Subsequently, four more victims came forward, including another person who was stabbed, an individual reportedly subjected to physical assault, and two others who were unharmed physically.

The victims, consisting of five men and two women aged between 23 and 59, were assaulted near David Lam Park along the Yaletown portion of Vancouver’s seawall.

Authorities described the assaults at the time as brutal and unprovoked.

Hamelin was subsequently charged with four counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of assault.

She admitted to the charges in Vancouver’s Downtown Community Court on December 16 and is currently in custody, as confirmed by the B.C. Prosecution Service to CBC News.

Hamelin is scheduled for sentencing on March 31, according to court records.
