“Stabbing Incident at Dundas Station Leads to Charges”

A man and a woman have been accused in connection with a stabbing incident at Dundas Station in Toronto, as per the Toronto Police Service. The altercation resulted in charges of assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose against the two individuals. The incident took place on November 26 at a downtown Toronto subway station, where a Toronto Transit Commission employee was reportedly stabbed and suffered severe injuries.

Following the incident, law enforcement officers swiftly responded to the Yonge Street and Dundas Street E. area around 1:10 p.m. An individual, who was apprehended at the scene, sustained serious injuries. According to the official statement released by the Toronto police, the altercation began near the TTC fare wickets within the subway station, leading to physical altercations and ultimately the stabbing of the male customer by the female TTC employee with a knife. Subsequently, the male suspect returned to the scene and stabbed the TTC employee.

Both parties involved were hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening, as indicated by the Toronto Police Service. The investigation revealed that the TTC employee and the customer were not acquainted with each other. The male suspect was charged on the day of the incident, while the female suspect was arrested later as a result of ongoing investigations.

The man was scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on November 27, whereas the woman is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in January 2026. The Toronto Police Service detailed the sequence of events in a news release, emphasizing the serious nature of the incident and the legal actions being pursued against the accused individuals.
