The Conservative Party of Canada has announced a record-breaking fundraising achievement in 2025, amassing nearly $48 million from over 327,000 donations. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre expressed gratitude for the widespread support, citing the donations as a testament to the party’s message of hope for a safer and more affordable Canada.

Elections Canada data reveals that the party secured $28.1 million in the initial quarter, $9 million in the second quarter, and $4.2 million in the third. The Conservatives are finalizing their fourth-quarter fundraising report, expected to show a further $6.4 million collected in the last quarter of 2025.

Poilievre emphasized the significance of these contributions in bolstering the party’s momentum and readiness to challenge the governing Carney Liberals in the upcoming election. In comparison, the Liberal Party also disclosed impressive fundraising figures, surpassing its previous record with over $29 million raised in 2025, nearly doubling its 2024 donations.

Elections Canada data indicates that the Liberals received $13.2 million in the first quarter, $7.6 million in the second, and $2.95 million in the third. The party’s national director, Azam Ishmael, hailed this achievement as a historic moment for the Liberal Party.

Meanwhile, the New Democrats garnered $4.6 million in donations during the initial nine months of 2025, with final fundraising numbers for the last quarter yet to be released by Elections Canada.
